my mirror got shanked

anyways, i was about to get hit by this old lady and her oldmobile. It was rainining and dark, she started passing towards my lane, I guess she didin't see me. I started to brake, i couldn't swirve to my right because of a truck. She was going slower than me, so when she saw me she slammed on the brakes, so it was actally I who hit her mirror with my mirror (totally her fault), leaving a black scuff mark on my mirror. Dosen't look like the paint is damaged, but I cannot get the black plasticky looking mark off. Any products?, please help.

try WD40...light solvent in it may dissolve the transfered plastic. After that...a mild white rubbing compound or try clay bar. After that I'd suggest going to the red polishing compound. Bummer...we've got tons of them here in FL. God's waiting room.
