what package did you get?

When I originally bought zaino 6 months ago, I went for the "ultimate" kit, which was $120 and included leather stuff too.

This time I bought just what I needed: two Z-7 (car wash), two Z-2 (clear coat polish), and two Z-6 (clean gloss spray). Cost me $60, and gives me twice the amount of zaino that I got the first time around.

thought about the kit , too. But just bought the essentials. ZFX, Z2,Z6 and more clay. I still have some Meguiars leather cleaner, so I opted out of the "leather in a bottle." Didn't get the Z5 for swirls cuz my car is new and I can't see any, so I thought that Z5 might be unnecessary.

z5 isn't needed.

you can buy claybar from anywhere - one company has a patent on it, so far as I know, everyone is selling the same stuff, but with different brand names on it.

I bought from a local automotive store a box of clarbar for $9.95, which included a spray bottle with solution... I guess zaino's clarbar saves you $4 (when buying two), but you have to supply the liquid.

btw, the reason I bought two of everything is because last time I ran out of the gloss spray, and couldn't buy a replacement (because the $9 shipping fee makes getting one item not worthwhile).

Hope you're not married or have a steady g/friend....if you are/do, send them on a nice weekend getaway, get yourself a supply of your "beverage" of choice, get the tunes lined up and have fun!

(BTW, I think there is some type of highly addictive additive in Z6 so be careful , it might replace your cologne!)

I thought about buying double for the same reason. But couldnt pull the trigger for 120 bux. The clay from Zaino was a bargain compared to Auto Zone. I bought the Clay Magic (blue clay) w/ the lubricating spray for 13.95 and only got one small bar. Zaino bars (2) for 16.95 was a deal.

Yeah, I noticed one automotive store was selling a claybar box for $14, while the other one sold it for $10. Weird, same product far as I know too.

Get some decent microfiber towels instead. They dry much, much better than cotton.

Val...wtg! Agree with Jason, for dry polishing, microfibre is great cause it's a tight weave, but don't use them for washing...go for the cotton towels in that regard. Flip the microfibre often when dry polishing.

What's your applicator for the ZFX/Z2? Don't use the microfibre for that, make sure you have a spongy 100% cotton applicator. Don't use too much ZFX/Z2 when you start out, just keep it thin and consistent. It will dry faster that way and won't be more work than necessary to buff it when dry. Plus, after the Z6 you'll want to do another ZFX/Z2, Z6 application. A little of this stuff goes an extremely long way Post some pix soon

Using the sheepskin mitt for washing. Bought the towels to dry, not to buff. I dont have microfiber for polishing but I do have some nice tight weave 100% cotton polishing clothes. They did well with my NXT wax. Should be fine for the Zaino. I plan on using the applicator that came with the Zaino polish. Cotton covered sponge. I will post photos when I'm done.
