I have one and I love it. Despite what the instructions say you can use whatever liquid soap you want. Zaino nuts can run with their line if they really want. I used blue coral after the bald guy's stuff ran out. This is a great quick wash.

Some of us like to drive more than rub.

Really? I have blue corel high foam as well as Turtlewax car wash... maybe I'll give them a shot in the Mr. Clean...

Do you mix it at certain ratio? like 1:1 or 2:1 (water:soap)...etc. or 100% car wash soap concentrate?

Has anyone heard the roumor about the MrClean car washer having a negative affect on your wax???
I heard that it strips off your wax with frequent use.
If anyone has any feedback about this I would appreciate it because I bought one for my father on fathers day last year and he has offered it to me because he doesnt use it.
So shoul it be yeah or neah?

it doesn't strip anything, it's perfectly compatible w/ wax, go ahead and use it for quick washes

or if you're concerned, use another brand of car wash soap w/ the sprayer instead of the Mr Clean soap, and just use its filtered water feature for spot-free rinse.

I personally have witnessed the mr. clean auto strip my wax. i used to think it was the best thing out there. spent an entire weekend waxing my mr2 when i had it. I washed, then clay barred, then washed, then used mcguires stage one cleaner wax, then the NXT. The car was immaculate. Rained 2 days later, it beaded like no other. and so following day i used the mr clean, did great cleaning, went on about my business. that following weekend i washed it again, and i noticed no beads. so i hosed off the rest of the car normally, was extremely pissed and have sworn it off ever since. this is just my opinion. Decide for yourself.

I just tried the Mr. Clean gizmo. $20 at Home Depot.

It works...but it seemed to me that the final de-ionized rinse took just as long as wiping with towels would have. You've got to spray it over every inch of the car. No time saving for me.

I really liked the gentle spray in the rinse mode (much gentler than my regular hose nozzle) and the auto soap dispenser - no more buckets. I think I'll keep on using it, especially if Meguiar's soap works in it, but will probably towel dry for the last step.

My dad swears by it. I'd keep some microfiber towels handy to get at spots where the water doesnt dry too fast.

The filtered water doesn't leave spots b/c the minerals and other impurities have been filtered out.

Has anyone else noticed the Mr. Clean soap stripping wax quickly?

I've been using Mr. Clean for about two years now. I, like others, use Meguiars soap, and I towel / blower dry after. I like it because it solved these handwash problems:

1) resoaping with a dirty bucket
2) water spots from water drying too fast in the summer heat
3) water spots under the side mirrors, handles, etc.

I think I threw away the Mr. Clean soap and never used it. I have used Meguiars ever since w/o any wax stripping.

However, after two years of lots of use, mine leaks like crazy. I'm sure the seals have worn out, and its probably time to get another one for next summer.

Oh yeah, the best reason is that my wife who never helped me before, enjoys using the Mr. Clean and we wash our cars together (sometimes, hehe).

Yup, a very handy gizmo. No bucket and no spotting, even in the Sun.
The Mr. Clean soap doesn't strip wax in my use.

Between the Mr Clean system and Turtle Wax Ice I've cut down my wash and wax time considerably.
