A lesson on detailing

Check this thread out, this is how we should look after our 8's LOL!

It's apparently one of the top valeters in the UK who was asked to valet the Veyron that Top Gear used on their show, and quite majorly scuffed up the paint!.

Rumor has it that this guy charges around £5000 ($10,000+ in todays exhange rate) for this sort of treatment, and finishes off the Zymol Royale treatment, which itself costs £7,000 and needs to be applied by hand.

Here

Heres a vid on youtube of the same guy. Here

Enjoy

I knew I had seen the vid posted before, but wasn't aware the pics of the Veyron was a repost.

FYI... that Veyron isn't the one Top Gear used (different color)... It's the actual demo car Bugatti sends out to shows.

And don't you mean detailers? not valet?

Yes it is the one used in Top Gear, they used one on two different occasions. This was the one used by James May to hit the top speed around the VW test track. That episode is from the newest series of top gear and may have not aired in the US yet.

Plus, I changed the topic after i posted, if you look at the title above below my nick but above the body of text on the 1st thread "A lesson on detailing" but it didn't change on the main thread title :p

Anything else sir? :p

Nope, you stand corrected. If you read a posts down, they corrected it.

My bad for the title change. Though it sucks it doesn't update the actual topic thread in the forum view.

ahhh cross culture language barrier... see to the folks here in the USA (myself included) "valet" or "Valeter" is a guy that simply parks your car when you go out to a club or something.

Ive seen the video you talked about -- he would be called an extreme detailer here especially for that kinda money. You would think though that a guy who knows so much about washing cars he would do it in the shade to avoid water spots.
