I bought a 2007 "new" rx8. Been on the lot since June of last year.

anyways... I believe my brake calipers came painted, but the brake dust is making it look disgusting nasty. Is there a way to clean it without re-painting?

I like keeping my car looking incredibly incredible... I hate it when stupid dingleberry kids touch my car and tell me how it's "only a car"! what do they know... sigh, haha

 

Take the wheels off and scrub them with a tire/wheel cleaning brush. That should do the trick if you keep up on it. It's also a good time to deep clean the wheels (when they are off).
