Cleaning my Rx-8
So I usually go to the car wash, I found a few gift certificates to Target. I want to pick up some cleaning supplies this weekend to clean the car. I noticed it looking a little shabby lately. Esp the headlights, kinda yellowish. Anyway. I hope I find somethings. Doing this to save money and I really dont have much time. But I love my car which is pearl white. I hope it looks nice after I am done.

Two things:
Turtle Wax headlight restoration kit
Armor All Extreme Tire Shine for your tires obviously and also for any external plastic part (that is black)

you often use car wash services? I have a bad experience with it when I found scratches near my car's tail lights. I think its better if you're the one who will clean the car. It's a good "bonding time" with your car, plus you make sure it is kept in a very good condition.

I agree. I never take my car to someone else to wash it. I either use one of those do-it-yourself places...and I make sure not to get close to the car with the pressure washer, I stay a min of 3 feet away, and then I use a microfiber cloth for some rough areas. If I wash it at home I use a bucket of warm water, some gentle soap, and a microfiber cloth. I never use sponges or regular cloths, they're just to aggressive on the paint.
