Cleaning Huper Tint?

I haven't been educated on glass tinting, and since this is the first car I've considered tinting I had some questions.
I did a search and couldn't find enough information to suit me. Except to not use window cleaner on the stock rear window, and someone mentioned they used a silicon based window cleaner on their Huper (So that might have answered it right there).
I know with regular tint they tell you to not use cleaners with ammonia in them.
What is the effect of ammonia on the tint?
Does this also apply to Huper tint as well?
Does the ammonia break down the plastic/Metal? Or get absorbed and cause an adverse effect between the tint and the window?

The ammonia goes after the adhesive and can loosen/remove the tint. With my llumar metallic, it just warned against ammonia but said alcohol based cleaners were fine. For the Huper Optik , the instructions say that you shouldn't use ammonia or alcohol based cleaners, just warm water..
