Car Show winner
 

Well, the area I live in just had its annual Mayfest this past weekend. On Sunday they always have a car show. There were over 250 entries this year. My 2004 RX-8 took second place. I just wanted to share with everybody that if you love your 8 as much as I do, it will definitely love you back. Trophy looks pretty good on display.

Good luck to anyone else taking their 8 to this level!

Hmmmmm......what types of cars were there?

Most of the 'shows' around here are geared towards classic cars (40's-50's-60's-some 70's)

I don't have any pics loaded up yet, but I will soon. It was all a large asortment of cars. Everything from the 30's on up. I'll post the pics as soon as I have them for you. The car has a custom paint job on it and also has a $6000+ custom audio and video system. Among other things currently and to come.....

Well this years 05 Senior Favorite Car at my school was my friends Blue RX8 base model. However he parks in the middle of the school basically so everyone sees his car and not mine because I park on the street.

Oh well atleast it went to an 8 instead of a Porsche Boxter (3400s) or Corvette.

Still trying to get a hold of a digital camera to post some pics. To think, I can afford this car, but I can't even get myself to go out and buy a digital camera, let alone a regular one. Might just have to break down and buy a throw away camera just so I can get some pics up for you guys.

You could take a picture of a white RX8 from the web and then draw some colors on it using a paint program of your choice. This would allow us to get some kind of idea how it's painted. :D

Should have pics posted within the next couple days. Trying to get copies of the pics the instal shop took of the audio/video system install. And for the guys who think I am all talk, I will make sure to post a pic of the trophy also. Sorry this is taking so long, I know it makes my credibility look bad. But patience is a virtue, just bare with me please.

And no, BOOSTD hasn't seen it yet. He said that the description of the paint scheme sounded like it would appear like a bumble bee.

i won the award for the best stock looking rx8 last week at the lowrider car show....hahha.. i beat out the 69 impala with a 15 color paint job...

Hmmm ... I saw that pics were attached so I thought ... "Finally something". Then I see KHTM and Triggerx1's pics! Ha ha too funny. I was wondering how I can get a custom job like that? Does it take long to do because I'm not the most mechanically inclined guy.

KHTM, I heard it has something to do with the DSC?

Really? Sweet! What do you need for that mod? Would a crowbar do? Or perhaps a Ford Taurus to back up into?

Yeah, thanks guys. My hard drive crashed at home and now I am trying to get my home pc fixed. Right now, I only have internet access from work. I don't have the ability to post the pics from here. I'll try and see if I can post the pics tonite from my friends pc. Go ahead shoot me down, I can take it. Maybe I can salvage some dignity if I can ever get these pics posted. And to my procrastination, at least I finally got the pics developed. Which I'm sure I will be given no redemption for.

dont beat on this guy, maybe he has to scan them throught his scanner and now he has to figure out how to post them.
