Go with a Makita and call it a day. Be careful though. Have you had appearance with a DA?

Well, as far as I know, there are random orbitals (which are safer, but not as powerful/fast) and there are single rotary polishers (which spin at high speeds in one position but can easily burn your paint). There are many choices for random orbitals, this one being one of the most popular: http://www.autogeek.net/po.html (I've purchased from these guys before, good experience).

I'm very impressed by Griot's line of products, so that's why I went with their polisher.

I have nicks and scratches from **** on my bumper and hood, but damn, those clear stickers just don't look right And then there's the wax that always get stuck on the edges...

I have the Griot's as well. Very nice polisher. I have allot of Griot's stuff.

The non-orbitals must be kept very well lubricated at all times to avoid buring the paint.
