Thumbs down bird crap

just washed my car yesterday. bird crapped on the hood today. got home, washed it off with water. wiped. waxed, then buffed it off (again). but theres something still there from it. kinda like permanent, but...not like an imprint, but its just a spot. its not coming off. idk how to describe it. any ideas on what could help?

Acid etch and repaint?

Carry a bottle of water, paper towel and a micro fibre cloth. Get the crap off ASAP.

Worst place to get crap. Most places you can clean off, but the heat from the hood is a killer.

Best fight is to have a good wax base. Otherwise like they said, window cleaner and the clay bar. Why window cleaner? It has Amonia. that's a base. Helps get rid of that acid from the bird crap.

I think that minor etching like that can come out with a hand polish, like Scratch-X (so try that if the claybar doesn't help).
