Best way to clean Volks

Ad the title says; want the best product to clean the chrome outer ring on a Volks rim...
Some spots from salt and brake dust are visible and would hate to "screw" them up with the wrong product....

Spray on wheel cleaners when rim is dry and cool, let soak, clean, dry and then wax. Most products are ok as long as you don't use them when the rim is still hot.

Meguiars has a cleaner formulated for chrome rims, but the package says be careful on painted and treated alloys, so I use the regular meguiars cleaner for all wheels...

Will try waxing them and see what happens.

I don't think strong cleaner is Volk's friend.

Get a baby toothbrush and start scrubbing
