Unhappy Bad factory tint?

I Just got my new 8 two days ago and after getting it home I realized if you look at the back window at a certain direction it seems to have a almost bubble look to it. Like if there was a bad tint job done to it. But I know it doest come with tint.
Anybody have this dilema. I wonder if it will effect future tint.
Help!

Mine has the same problem. It seems more like haze rather than bubble though. Is that intrinsic problem of back window?

I don't think I've even looked at my rear window.

Yep, spotted that affect here too.

Very bizarre. It's less defined than the bubbles you get from a bad tint job, it's more like wavy hazy in the tint.

Strange.

Do the RX-8's have "Enegy Absorbent Glass"? If so, that is most likely what you are seeing. A lot of cars have this these days, and thats exactly what it looks like on angles.

"Enegy Absorbent Glass"? If you are right about that it would be interesting. I'm guessing it doesnt effect tint?
Very Interesting

It there as an energy absorber so your windshield doesn’t break when the car flexes slightly, lower end BMW's have it BAD.

So it's a regular part of the car and not a defect? Kinda strange really. Looks like crap!
