Anyone Use Zymol?
My father has a Pearlescent White Audi S6 and uses all Zymol products, and it really seems to do wonders in bringing out the pearl effect of the paint. I know it is expensive stuff, but i wonder if anyone else uses it on their RX-8 or other car and how you like it, i mostly use meguiars on my car now, but if i get an rx-8 i think i want to use higher quality products. Seems like most of you are all about the zaino.

I've heard good things about Zymol as well online; however I haven't had the opportunty to see it's outcome in person as I have with Zaino, thus my choice... I suspect they're both terrific products and it's merely a matter of preference.
Mequires car wash is what I am using every 4-5 days to keep my exterior clean of dirt, bugs, etc until my Zaino comes in. It's doing great keeping the nice shine ...
Good luck! :D

Zymol is good stuff but I still favor Zaino. Honestly I used Zaino over the summer and just before the winter I put a nice coat of Zymol Titanium on it (titanium is designed for trucks and stuff and supposed to be very good at protecting paint). I had really good luck with this combo, dirt and such never adhered to the paint and was always very easy to remove.

That article, in addition to countless personal reccomendations, was what led me to purchase Zaino 2 years ago. I wouldn't use anything else, now!

After a good wash, I put the first coat of wax on my Velocity Red RX-8 yesterday (I've had it two weeks). I used the Zymol product (for the first time) and the results were awesome. Halfway through the hood I could see the line between the waxed and un-waxed sections and it was amazing. I thought the factory finish looked good but the Zymol gave it a really rich, slightly darker glossy finish. Zymol is also pretty easy to get off of the trim.
However, follow the instructions to the letter. Wax small areas (2' by 2') and start buffing while the wax is still wet.

I used to use zymol but compared to KLASSE, zymol sucks. KLASSE is 10X easier to use and removes tar and other crap while offering an acrylic protection. Its not a wax but is many times better. At first I was skeptical and it is pricey but you can't beat the results. Easy to use, wipe on wipe off. Done. Try one and you'll never wax again.
