SpeedSource Gives Mazda RX-8 First Win
PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 11, 2004) -- Sylvain Tremblay and David Haskell gave the Mazda RX-8 its first North American professional race win with their Grand-Am Cup Series victory in the Phoenix Sport Touring 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. A good pit stop strategy allowed the pair of drivers to pilot their SpeedSource No. 70 Mazda to a 27-second lead over the polesitting Turner Motorsports No. 95 BMW of Don Salama and Will Turner.

Turner drives the bimmer 330i I think.
Great job Dave! Sounds like the car drove great. 27 seconds is a very large lead for your class, was it really ALL pit strategy?

The guys from Turner where their main problem down at homestead a few weeks ago. Nice to see they are getting a better hang of the car :D
