A little something for you guys who have a race season that ends, must suck to live someplace cold.

Thanks for the videos Jason. Have you tried mounting the gopro on inside of the rear window to get a shot of the steering wheel+course? I know you posted some similar vids a while back, but I think that was with a bullet cam?
Cool course, but I don't like the camera location/angle or something...makes me dizzy
btw, ULLLLLLLLLLLOSE, we will have a site up here, next year, that may inspire you to make the haul up from SoCal for some of the two day events we'll be running...all things considered, it's better than El Toro

I might make it up there once, if there is a Divisional or Tour. But we plan to cut back this year to make time for other projects.
If we get the RV camping deal ok'ed for the site, I may just run AAS events next year, as they are all two day deals...so, you get to run with all the fastest guys in NorCal and hang out for the weekend in 70-75 degree weather with a panoramic view of SF and the bay...works for me.
Are you planning on going road racing? Or, is it family stuff? btw, how old is ULLLLLLLOSE-ette now, like almost 5?

Got to finish/start the car first. That and I am tired of ProSolo, BS format and challenge, so that is an easy one to skip. I am sure I will do our local one, but that will be it, and I doubt I will do it in BS....
Jessica is 3.5.
A little road racing, well as much as I can fit in without paying for it.

For some reason, I had Jessica a year older...maybe because last time I saw her, she already seemed more mature than ULLLLLLLLLLOSE Sr.

Yep, road racing is best enjoyed on someone else's dime...although even without paying for car/tires/parts, the entry fees and other costs do add up, a bit. I guess you'll have the full "arrive and drive" type deal, though? Keep us informed!

She keeps working on me, but its always one step forward, and two steps back.

Typically two SCCA events a month, one in Fontana (AAA Speedway) and the other in San Diego (Qualcomm stadium). Most every SCCA event in Socal has a Saturday practice and Sunday race.
There are also BMW and PCA club events, but those are difficult to get in to.

Nothing a trailer and admission to Winterfest in Sebring won't cure.

PS. Anyone ever tell you that you drive too smooth? Where's the fun in that?

We rented it once for a work test/project, but it has gotten very exspensive. The local SCCA regions runs there a few times a year, bigger events like the ProSolo and Divisional, again due to cost.
The only other group that runs there on a regular basis is the local Porsche club chapter.

Last PCA event of the season for the OCR group.... We set up a course that let them "stretch their legs". I did not have my data with me, but the GT3 RS and ASP Z06 reported mid 90s with their GPS.

It was worse on then next run as I got fuel starvation in a number of turns.
