Securing the car on a trailer

Anyone have advice, do's, don'ts for hauling an 8 around? I finally have a towing setup (01 V10 Excursion and aluminum open trailer). Mostly wondering what you wrap around or hook to at each end...

Either pull the rubber plugs out of the rockers and use the stock tie down locations, T hooks work good for this. Or just use the hook end of your tie down in one of the holes in the sub frames.

use the t-hook method per Uuuloser above, absolutely best way to tiedown any car for hauling, tying down through wheels is one of the worst ways to haul a car

btw, I have this all-aluminum low profile enclosed hauler on order, should be built in the next several weeks

the enclosure does unbolt from the frame so you're right, I can go ice fishing and haul the car on an open trailer all on the same trip

That is the coolest trailer!
What is it?
