fortunately we have a Summit Racing in town, picked up a new set on the way in to work this AM, live and learn ...

Well it was worse than we realized, we saw the bent part on the outside, but what we didn't see was the broken part on the inside which is what allowed it to bend I suppose we're lucky it didn't break completely, it still screwed us ...

I wonder which one of your spins did that.

I seem to recall saying something way back about not liking how those fit, that is why I went with the Whiteline ones.

probably the first one took a huge sliding spin at the top of 2nd gear where the turnaround exit enters into the 2nd half of the RH course, took another spin at the same spot in the afternoon too, kept losing it at the wall before the finish too

the bracket leg is long with a slot because it's a universal fit, the leg ends up overlapping onto the bolt head that locates the ABS cable mount. I could cut it off, but IMO it's no big deal. There's a thread on here somewhere where somebody broke a Racing Beat sway bar bracket completely across just like you see in my pic. It's a dedicated RX-8 mount bracket just like what you have with the mounting holes only, but sized for the larger bar diameter.
