SCCA Dixie National Tour
Thought I would post here to encourage folks to attend the National Tour event at South Georgia Motorsports Park on February 24,25. Over a hundred are registered so far, and this site is new smooth asphalt similar to Topeka (so they say), and there is plenty of room for good courses.
I also wanted to point out several other unique things about the event. First, on Thursday the 22nd prior to the event, they are testing Pro Solo equipment and formats and can use up to 50 cars to run/work....and it is free. This link explains how to sign up:

In addition, the next day you can sign up for a Cone Clinic put on by Andy Hollis and his wife for a cost of $50 which is considerably less than the $200 cost for an Evolution School. Andy is a mult-time National Champ and highly-respected as an autocross authority. Click here on the right side column where it says "Cone Clinic." After reading about it, if you want to sign up, go to the other link provided:

Finally, if you have never attended an SCCA National Tour before and prefer 140+ wear-rating street tires like Falkens Azenis, Hankook 212, and Kumho MX, you can sign up for a SE Division Indexed Street Tire Class where you can run your stock car against other stock cars on similar non race tire rubber. You can even use your OEM tires if you like. On the same link above for the Cone Clinic, you would click on "on-line registration" and sign up under A Modified (AM) and put a note at the bottom (in space provided) that you are entering the indexed street tire class. The class will use the PAX index so that stock cars in multiple classes can run head to head.
