The most widely accepted conversion formula I've found is to multiply your 1/8mile time by 1.56. This'll give you a 1/4 mile time of 14.42. Nice driving!
What were the temps like? What were your launch rpms? Any axle hop on your launch?

ohh.........i know that my tires are alot stickier on the street vs the strip..........its seems the only way to get traction on the strip is to spin the tires prior the run.......

yeah im gonna go again after i get my intake and midpipe istalled...+15hp.....maybe if i get lucky......i can pull 8.99........id have to drive perfect......but i think it can be done......i know i can get a lower 60ft time......i got a lower 60 the next run but i missed shifted into second......still ran a 9.4 though
if you are running on the stock exhaust don't expect +15 hp from just intake and midpipe... I've been down the same route man, trust me, don't expect that much horsepower and just be happy to gain anything you can. You'll feel a lot better about your investments.
I think both of those modifications will have more noticable effect in the higher gears. as per really significantly improving your 1/8th mile time I would really recommend saving your money and getting a lightweight flywheel like the fidanza. If you stay NA the stock clutch is strong enough to take it easily, and you will make a much more significant gain in the areas which you wish to improve. Just givin ya some food for thought.

well it really does depend, however for the most part ( and this does vary depending on the specific car and brand of parts) a REAL 15 to the wheels with catback/intake/midpipe/flash is about right. I can tell you this, that k&n will make you feel your 3rd and 4th gear are definitely improved. It had that affect on me driving my friends with it equipped, although I never saw any dyno's on real (non butt-dyno) gains. Just be ready, that ****** thing rips and your 8 is gonna have a much differrent personality!
Race flash actually makes almost exactly the same power, which I confirmed with them on the phone two days ago before I sent out my ecu. As I said before how much you actually gain is going to vary especially with this car. No doubt +15 is reasonable and attainable with those modifications if everything is in good shape.
