I'm not codriving in the car at this event, but here's some action shots from yesterday at the 100 Acre Wood Rally in Missouri. They finished day one, lost almost 2 minutes on stage 3 after hitting a huge rock and crushing the skidplate. Other than that incident, Bob says the car is pretty tough.

Cool, man! I didn't know that anyone did Rally Racing in RX8s. How does the RWD do off road? It know pretty much nothing about Rally racing, but aren't most cars AWD in those races?

I'm fairly certain that there are many classes for rally racing, each with their own limitations on drive wheels, engine size/output, etc.

 

I am actually really hoping to be able to catch the Olympus Rally in May after spending a few days in Seattle. I would love to see your car if you guys are participating in that one.

I think Olympus is on his schedule, although I'm not sure if this is the car he'll be using.
