RX-8 vs Ferrari @VIR
It's been quite a while since I've been on this forum. I formerly posted under another user name but have since parted with the association to the program. This is an older video, from 2005 I believe, that I found in my files on my laptop and re-recorded it with an upload to youtube.
This was an open test day at VIR. The car is a Grand-am Cup prepared Mazda RX-8 from NRG Motorsports driven by Nick Gurucharri. Obviously the Ferrari and Porsche have WAY more horsepower. As you know, the RX8 is nible, light on its feet, and out brakes virtually anything out there.
Notice how long you can hold wide open throttle on the straights into the braking zone. Enjoy!

Yah, that fist shake is awesome.
The cars look great, but rumor has it the MS front bumpers produce lift. Did you guys tend to lose front end grip at high speeds?
