question about koni
Quick question. I just installed some Koni yellows on last nite and I have a quick question. How the hell do you know what valve setting you are on?
I have experience with coilovers but not with Koni's; I was assuming that it would stop once it reaches maximum or minimum point.
I was turning the rear shocks counter clockwise(stiffer), but it just kept turning and turning. I thought it would stop turning once you have reached full stiff or full soft, but it just kept turning.
Thanks in advance for the help guys.
BTW, Koni's instruction sucks *ss!!

you didn't have the shock compressed enough to engage the adjuster. you
have to compress the shock all the way down in order to engage it.
you should "feel" the adjustment gears interlock when you compress the
shock and turn the body a little bit. it takes a little practice to know when
it is engaged and if you let the shock un-compress even a little bit then
the gears separate and then you are just spinning your wheels, errr, shock.
and yes, the Koni instructions suck.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate it.
So let me get this straight, once the rear shocks are completely compressed and you turn it either way all the way, will it stop turning once it reaches the end point?
Thanks again.
