This event is on the Pocono - North course and there is no concern from cars on track spinning into cars on the grid. The issue you refer to occurred at either the Souh or East track at Poconco.
I ran the North Course in May with the Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team (C.A.R.T) and it was nice and safe and I have no concern about a repeat of the issue you refer to.
