Yeah, I'm not sure where they got all the caster from. I suspect they're not doing what I told them, which is to pull all the caster out before going for max camber. Is the caster all you're referring to by "jacked" or something else?

Yeah, the caster. I would guess you could get as much as -1.6 with the caster out. :icon_tup:

You might also want to check the torque on the bolts yourself.

Three minutes of footage, and that's the toughest criticism you can manage? Fatherhood's making you soft; I guess it's up to Mark to flame the newbs on this forum from now on. :icon_no2:

I could flame you.... But I figured your results (7th out of 9) do more damage than I ever could. :lol2:

The courses were not tight, at all, outside of the one turn at the back, before going across to the return side.

In the section after the turn described above (the one that got you going across the back of the courses) through to the final slalom section, it sounds like you were on the throttle and off the throttle pretty hard, which was moving the weight around, probably to "hit" a couple of pointer cones. I think many (as Brian and I discussed on course walk) were thinking they needed to get close to those cones to allow setting up for the final slalom, when the reality was you could just let it rip, ignore a couple of pointer cones, carry more speed and still have plenty of time to get oriented to the final slalom entry. Take an extra 3-4mph and multiply by 300'...on Saturday, when my head was in to the event, I was able to get down to 27.1 on the left and 27.0 on the right (obviously on scratch...darn it) and I think that was the difference.
