Looks like AMS is retiring their time attack car from last year after a very successful season. This should be the car to beat at the time attacks next year and should have a serious 1st place shot at One Lap.

Anyhow, just thought I'd post it since it should be interesting to see how the build comes along. Their last car was just a street car with a bunch of mods, this will be a purpose built racecar. I've never seen what the whole process would be to turn a street car into a serious track beast and hopefully others find it interesting as well.

Thats what I think of the Cobalt. Ask the Cobalt guys how well the stock steering knuckles hold up on the track. I seen a Cobalt SS snap one on the Autocross Course, man that was ugly!!

 

CF and kevlar roof, went on a couple days ago. Gotta love that!

I'd bet money that Mark Daddio is going to be driving this beast next year.
