New to the racing events and need some help.

I'm new to the racing events around my area, I've completed 2 time lapping events and did pretty good, but I'm looking for some help with rims and suspension.

I need some rims and was thinking about the Enkei Rpf1 and what size tires should I be running?

Last year I was running Hankook Z211 235/40/17 on my winter rim (Fast Poison F49) which were a bit heavy and the rest of the car is stock.

As for suspension I was thinking for going with the Mazdaspeed products, does anyone have this set up? Or what do you recommend?
The reason why I'm thinking of going Mazdaspeed is due to my warranty.

Thanks

You'll do fine with all of the abovementioned items.

Wheels:
There are less expensive wheel options to the RPF, but the RPF is a proven wheel. 17x9 is a great size. Gives many tire options at 245 45 17 (and cheaper than 18" as well),,,,

Tires:
one of which is the NITTO NT-01 DOT as well as many competition tires like:
Kumho V710
Hoosier R6.

As for treaded Extreme Performance street tires:
Dunlop Z1
Bridgestone RE-01R
Hankook RS2 Z212
Kumho MX, etc., etc. etc.

Suspension:
Many here run a Koni / [select your aftermarket spring here] combo with success.
I've been happy with my Koni/Tein H-tech combo.
Going Mazdaspeed is great as well.

Brakes:
Don't forget your brakes! Make sure your fluid and pad are up to the task.

Sway Bar:
I'm running stock sway bars myself. Been fine. Eventually I may get an adjustable set.

Good luck!

You know that participating in timed events voids your insurance and warranty, right?

Yeah I know that my warranty would be void if they found out and with the insurance, it is only void when your on the track.

They do offer track insurance, but you are most likely looking at a $600 down payment on the policy.

Yeah, but you don't have to volunteer that information.
