New class, new wheels, old tires
New class, new wheels, old tires
I'm looking forward to STX in 09. Just received my new wheels today. WedsSport TC005 17x9's, 15 lbs. A friends old RE01R's will suffice for the first few events. I'm excited about 2009!! Tire Rack just lowered the price on these wheels to $169 IIRC. I think there is only 1 set left so hurry up guys.

I bought 'em. That was too good to pass up.
I had been intending to buy the Kosei K1-TS, but out of nowhere they raised the price on the 17x9s by $100 a wheel. These are apparently lighter and even cheaper than the Koseis were before the price hike. Win.

^ Congrats Nick. Awesome purchase. If I can't find a used set of these in a year, I'll probably go with 17x9 Enkei's RPF1's which are 15.6lbs iirc...
Edit: They're 15.9lbs per Edgeracing.

I dunno, the brake dust should cover up the letters on the wheels pretty quick. If I get some F1 inspired Potenza stencils for the tires I can get a totally out of style wheel and tire package

In reality, I had a set of 16x7 of these on a Civic a number of years ago and I really liked them. When I saw that they were on closeout and fit the STX rules really well I couldn't pass them up.
