Do you have any pictures of how you modified the mount and/or the front crossmember? I'm looking to do something similar, I just got a planted mount in the mail and it's not low enough for me. No but it was pretty straightforward. I cut the mounts shorter and welded them in to make the mount sit lower. It requires some creativity with the driver's side mount, the rear inside mounting bolt in particular, because it's directly below where the seat rail attached.
