more side bolster support on the cheap?

I tried posting in the interior section but no one had any input yet so I thought I'd try asking the racers, sorry for the double post.

I'm a thin guy and I want more side bolster support but want to keep my side airbag. I want an affordable solution (read: cheap) so the only thing I can think of is to buy the mazda seat covers and stuff the bolsters. Anyone tried something similar or have any other ideas/input????

Thanks in advance - red5eight

If you have leather I saw someone use a pice of foam behind them to keep from sliding around.
I have also seen people bend the bolsters inward. Maby like a ratchiting strap around the seat and crank it till the sides bend in.The bad thing about that is the back of our seats are plastic and might crack. Its pretty ghetto but it can work.
You asked for cheap so you got it.

Not the sides, but I've removed the bottoms, added support material to the side areas to make them far less crushable, so the seat is more like a pocket for my 150lb frame.

If you simply want to stay in one place during track conditions - rather than slipping around, there's a very cheap and very easy solution that will do the trick.
