Just have fun, that's the most important thing and what many people forget about once they start competing on a national level in the SCCA.

Goodluck guys, any serious contenders in a Z, they seem to be MIA so far this year.

There are some at the Atlanta Tour... and only one 350Z (dual driven) at the Atl. Pro...

We need more BS cars for the Atlanta Prosolo.... because I'm willing to be they'll find one more to make a full class for FS (currently at 4). If BS doesn't have a full class, we'll get bumped to AS. Bleah.

Need more BS people for Atlanta Pro!

As long as we have RX-8's in the top 5 spots! The way I see it, the real "spoiler" could be Jim Edrington in the 350Z. He was out last year with a brand new ride with no alignment or anything and went pretty well. He has another year now, and he's a pretty solid driver (and the Z is fast).

Art is fast, when he's on (and I HAVE to believe this event would be a good motivator), and with a co-driver he will have warm tires for every run.

Same with Jeremy and Mark. They are in an 8 with a year of development time - and they have the Koni's (which should help a lot).

That leaves you, EJ. I KNOW you can do it, and we will ALL be watching (but, no pressure )

With the weather forcasted for the low 70's and the high 40's/low 50's overnight, it will be interesting to see how the tires hold up.

Good Luck, and I hope to be there to take some pictures (at least) one of the two days.

Was nice to meet Eric tonight. Hope to meet Tim this weekend, too (wish that you could compete, too, though ).

Wish that John and I could do the Atlanta Pro, but the Tour there works best for us as a travel weekend.

Running first heat. With the weather forecast being what it is, I think that the two driver cars will have an advantage. The Kumhos seem to work pretty well when cold, though, especially in comparison to the Hoosier S04s.

Ike, Carter Thompson is registered in a 2005 350Z (I'm guessing it's the anniversary edition) for the Atlanta Tour next week, but not sure if it's his or means that he's going to give the Z another shot.

I think I will go with Sipe for the BS Houston win, if he stays clean...If he has cone problems it will be close... There are some fast BMWs in TX to go after the RX8s... Good luck to all.

Wish I were in TX.... The 6 hour drive to Phx with a 10 day old baby was murder, 3000 mile round trip to TX, no way.

Cant wait to see if KC has anything for Carter and if Carter has anything for KC in Hotlanta.

Carter has an '05 Track on order, but will be driving someone else's car in Atlanta.

Not sure if the Saturday results are posted yet, but Mark forgot the unwritten rule about not beating the car owner today. :o He got his cone issues under control for his third run and leads by 0.6. Art is in second and I'm 0.2 behind Art.

The B Stockers here are a great bunch of people. I'm glad I made the trip.

Keep in mind Sipe has by far the best track record of anyone running in either class in Houston. Having driven many of the top cars in both classes, all things being equal, I'd still expect AS to beat BS by a decent margin.

I heard Clyde finished third. Damn good showing.

Mark can definitely drive, he has had trouble in that RX-8 before but I guess he figured it out.

I'd say that's a bit of an understatement :p

Holy crap that's an impressive showing for the RX-8. I thought the RX-8 would be the car to have in BS, but I wasn't 100% confident. A few more results like this and BS will soon look like it has the past few years and people will be whining about classing changes.

Wow -- that one's a keeper. I'm going to file it away and bring it back out again come September.

Seriously -- I don't want to rain on your parade, but we have yet to see a 350Z campaigned by a AAA driver. We will next week, and the results won't be pretty. You're also forgetting that, despite the fact that the 968 is still very much under development, Ron did pretty well in our last encounter with Jason and his RX-8. The RX-8 could very well be the car to have in B Stock, but I think you're being rather hasty in declaring it a done deal...

We're going to try as hard as we can... the car is obviously capable. The question is: are the drivers?

Not sure what you're referring to... are you going to Atlanta? Don't see your name on the entry list. I was referring to Steve's comment about 350Zs at Atlanta (at least I assume that's what he was talking about). Jeremy's RX-8 is obviously capable of winning nationally. Now - are Jeremy and I capable.

Just noticed that Strano (MR2T) and Shields (944) entered the Atlanta tour. EEP!
