June VIR Grand Course????

Who is going?

What are you bringing?

I will be there instructing and my son will be there as a student. He will be in his 05 RX8 and I will be in my C5 or I might also use the Mazda. We are both looking forward to it. Hope to see everyone there.

I'm there. Black RX-8 w/ black wheels, Azenis 615's, stock otherwise, MD tags. Hopefully I'll be in B group. I'm there w/ basic tools, an extra set of 17x9 wheels, plenty of brake fluid, and new Nitto NT01's to break in on Sunday.

Road Atlanta and VIR? I can just see you walking around with a silly grin on your face for at least a month afterwards.

I am IN !!!- just heard the good word today. I'm really psyched to run the Grand East configuration. I'll be in a black NSX. I'd really like to talk to some of you about how you like the Azenis- will need new tires on the NSX after this HPDE.

H, have you seen any communications from Dave on who is in the groups? I don't remember seeing it - although I have received a lot of stuff so far. I expect to be in D or C.

they usually don't announce the groupings over e-mail; you find out when they hand you the roster after you checked in; i should be in C, hopefully i'll do well enough that they'll bump me into B to play with the faster cars

I ran in B in March. Depending on what's available, I should be in B or maybe C since I've never run the Grand East configuration.

gotta run- gotta check my front brake pads tonight!

Congrats! You're Howard, right? We met at the VIR-N event. I love my Azenis on track, and I actually know a guy from No. VA who ran them on his NSX at BeaveRun a couple of weeks ago. I believe he's quite happy with them. Find me in the pits and we'll talk further - black RX8- w/black wheels.

A couple of friends and I are staying in the new trackside condos - the ones right there on the front straight. They're reasonably priced - $99 a night, 2 double beds, free wireless internet, and you can just fall out of bed in the morning and walk to the paddock.

I ran in B group at VIR in March. So I'll be in B unless they put me in C since I've never run the Grand East configuration- depends on availability. I am psyched- 4.2 miles , 32 turns!

for Grand East lap VIDEO, go here:

you should be in B, they don't pull people down because they haven't run a particular course configuration.... if you're fast already you'll be fast on the new setup in no time
