Joining Mazdaspeed Motorsports?

so i want to join, but i got to the registration page..

and saw this line which scared me..
Purchaser acknowledges that all Mazda vehicle warranties are voided if the vehicle is used in any Competition events.
will scca solo ii void my warranty? i still have some warranty left, should i just wait till its over?

For your question, yes.

what you should do is

take your plates off before you go on.

that should help

my b2b warranty is almost over so I dont really cared, if anything broke I still have Geico to back me up (250 dd)

This topic has been covered several times in the past. If you're building a car up for Koni Challenge or some similar w2w racing they you really shouldn't expect to keep any warranty coverage. However, for the occasional track day or autocrossing I wouldn't worry about it.

I've been a Mazdacomp member for nine years now, and I've never had a warranty claim denied due to participation in autocrossing or track days.

Umm... you do realize that your car insurance won't cover a dime for any mechanical failures, right?

so in competition we would just take off our plates and be set?
