i just got my rx-8 not that long ago and its a stick and ineed help on whats the best way to launch can anyone help?

 

4.5K , feathering the clutch and then drop it~
best way for a launch IMO, since the feathering DEFINITLEY HELPS by reducing the pressure on the tranny and clutch. i tried many different ways and this has to be the best launch to me and alot quicker without any tires slipping and immediate launch.=]

Wasnt there just another thread on this topic not too long ago?? Either way, launching will dramatically shorten clutch life, so i wouldnt be doing it everywhere

 

i think so but whatevers.....

thats why i feather the clutch .... even tho its still harsher then normal driving, it isnt as harsher then dumping the clutch, thats for shuRee..

 

well I dont plan doing it all the time just for racing but thanks it helped with my launch
