Just checked my tq. wrench. I set it at 108 a year ago. It's been there since. Lol.

Well, I'm a dentist in this life! May I compromise on 106.5 ft-lbs?!

Just sent him an email, excellent advice for any track day attendee. Eric knows his stuff. I just had my first event and other than checking for plenty of brake pad and good fluid my car was bone stock and was great. Focus on the basics and have a blast.

Some notes from my first event:

learn how to drive the line, smoother inputs the better, steering, shifting and braking be as smooth as possible it pays off big time at the end of the weekend. Don't assume every driver knows your there or will stay where they are supposed to coming out of the pits. I got signed off to drive solo and at 120+mph on the finish straight at VIR following my instructor a car came out of the pits may be doing 50 and went straight into the race line!!!!!! after hitting the brakes hard and going a little sideways I made this realization. I am sure his instructor had a few choice words for him. He was also black flagged and brought in for a chat.

It was the most fun I have had in years!! Already signed up for my second event.
