Dallas National Tour

BS was in the 1st heat, and it looks like Foley and co-driver had a solid Day 1.

Results from Heat 1 & 2 action (includes couple runs from Heat 3): Results

Foley was fast out of the box...must have been that 20 mile tour of the
country side they took before getting into grid. Wagner was right behind
him and Thomas would have been right there but for a cone.

It was 50 degrees with a 15 mph wind when we started. A co-driver was
a definite plus today... :-( Should be a few degrees warmer Sunday with
little/no wind.

now, where did i put that bottle of vodka...?

There was some pretty loud pissing and moaning about that last year at Packwood...what's the official stance, per Solo II rules?

edj, looks like you coned away a chance to be in the hunt...oh well, you can still win one day...believe me.

More like 1/2 mile and 20 minutes before we took our first runs. Don't think that made any difference. The gas station would have been farther.

I'm not sure I would call my 1st run fast. I putted around most of the course just trying to keep the rear in the rear. But thanks anyways Eric!

Congrats to Jeremy and Jon both for a solid showing at the Tour, and congrats to edj for bumping Thomas on Day 2 for the last trophy spot!
