Correct part number for front wheel hub w/ DSC?

Can anyone confirm if the Timken HA590096 works with DSC? Seller ads say it doesn't, but there isn't any other part. Also, has anyone tried just replacing the bearing?

Thanks,
Chris

That's the same part number that I bought for my '05 with DSC. Seems to be working just fine. I don't think you can just replace the bearing because it's heated and rolled/crimped together like most unitized hub/bearings these days.

Awesome, thank you sir. I've got a low frequency rumble when turning hard despite changing tires and wheels. Not much play in the wheel, but with 75k and a few thousand on the track I figure they're due.

Mazda only shows one part number, if you think about it, every car has ABS, so they all have wheel speed sensors.

I have a Brand New OEM front hub I'd be willing to sell. I bought it cause I thought one was bad, but determined it was a wiring problem before I replaced it.

Message me if you're interested.

Incorrect. Not every car has ABS

KMA, just curious, how did you get from a bad bearing to faulty wiring ?

every RX-8 has ABS. I think you are confusing it with DSC, which was an option on some model year RX8s

Not from a bad bearing to wiring problem. I went from thinking it was a bad Wheel speed sensor(I had a fault present for the RF), which is built into the hub, to deciding to dive into it further and found the real cause of the problem. I checked both front sensors on my car with an Oscilloscope and determined they were both good. Then traced the wiring back to the ABS module connector and found a pin not seated all the way.

No confusion @ Team, I was clarifying the incorrectness that EVERY car has ABS, as not to confuse those that would then assume every car manufactured has ABS. Just being word specific. And thank you, Kma for your clarification.
