California/Southern Nevada HPDE
Does anyone know if the event at the LVMS, which is listed as
Nov 6/7- Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Outside Track, Limited Groups- AI, ASC)
, will include an HPDE event?
also, is HPDE fine for absolute beginners who have never really autocrossed? My only experience is rev-it-up, and i'm not sure that counts

Yes. From the registration page (https://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_e.../?event_id=184):
HPDE group 1 is suitable for absolute beginners (an instructor will be provided to you).
