Chike, Eric and I did a little research Saturday evening on the motor mount issue. It appears that the earlier cars had the problem and that Mazda redesigned the mount and also issued a TSB, so the later cars (like yours) should be safe (?)...must be so, I read it on the 'netz.

Yeah, BS didn't really show well on PAX, either. Not sure what that is all about, as there's no doubt that we had lots of top drivers in the class. I'm at a loss to understand what it was about the course that didn't "work" for the RX8...seemed to allow plenty of time in the sweet spot of the power (powerless?) band, lots of transition and a sweeper or two. Shoulda been good, I'd a thunk...
