B Stock - where are you guys?

Jeez... 11 currently signed up for Nationals? A Stock has 41, SS has 51. Hell, even no-longer-supplemental STU has 18 right now. "Like 1989 all over again" F Stock has more than B Stock by almost double. "Go ahead, blow the inheritance" SM2 has more than B Stock.

Take heart in the fact that GP only has four. So you guys are beating SOMEONE.

I mean, I know it's over a month away... but come on!

Maybe they got the same memo that we did to buy a Boxster and move to A Stock. Or maybe they're just afraid of the big bad 350Zs.

No, I think only the people riding the short bus got that memo.

Just kidding, the car is great, it's only this driver who is riding the short bus.

At this rate I guess we will have to move some slow AS cars down, and kill off the RX-8 and 350Z. If we can not beat FS in numbers we will be screwed.

I have been going back and forth with whether I should go. This might be enough motivation to go....

I knew B Stock's east coast numbers have been bad the last few years, but I was expecting you west coast guys to pick up the slack.

I keep expecting A Stock to be shuffled around, but it's such a popular class that it wouldn't really make sense. I'd like to see a class in between the current A Stock and the current Super Stock, personally...

Hard to screw with AS, it is what every class should be. imho

I wish the Shelby would have been so fast we had to move it up to BS, but I don't think that is the case. I would guess the BMW 135 will end up being a turd, and not be fast enough to run in BS either.

The 135 is only a good differential away from being a good autocross car.

Mmmm, I want one of those turd 135's and I hope it's not in BS. On the other hand, I'm going to be there, to see what shakes out and I'm looking forward to seeing the people I met last year.

I'm with John, even though I'm one of those "late" guys, there are lots of reasons to attend Nationals. The atmosphere and people alone are worth the trip IMO.

The 350Z guys are too busy talking about their torque curves and putting 19" chrome wheels on their rides and the RX-8 guys are too busy talking about "teh twisteeeezz" to actually drive on them.

I agree 100%! Even if you're slow and not contending, it's a really fun place to be, and there seems to always be something to do or a new person to meet. Plus, you have Pat's Pig... can't get that on either coast...

The 135 sure does look like a B Stock car, unfortunately... unless the SEB really wants to wake up F Stock.

Someone help this 350Z owner with an RX-8 co-drive: http://www.my350z.com/forum/showpost...1&postcount=37

He is just an RX-8 away from a championship.

I'll be there, along with my co-driver. I've just been too lazy to register yet.

The rental seat is great...especially when it comes detached from expectations about the driver.

Saw your car at the divisional this past weekend and it looked great. Are those Work XD9 wheels that you have on there and where did you find them in the correct offset?

thanks, those are Motoforge wheels, 8x18", 45mm offset. Motoforge went belly-up a
couple of years ago & some of their leftover stock was available for a short time. i
managed to grab one set. check the Evo/Sti forums as these wheels were designed
for those cars.

After the way I drove last Sunday at Packwood, there might be one LESS signed up next time you look...

The numbers might not be great, right now, but the quality of the class IS

Hey Mike!

You could switch to BSL. Right now you would finish no worse than 4th...

Currently at 27... bigger so far than C, E, F, and H Stock, and tied with G Stock.
