Autocross Numbers

I tried the search button, and got two pages of no help.

For those of you who have purchased number sets for Autocross and Track Days.

Where did you get them, are they magnetic or vinyl, and are you happy with them?

I need to get numbers before my next events, and want to buy based on reviews, not just looking at them on a website.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I made templates out of cardboard and use contact paper purchased from the hardware store. It is cheap, looks good and stays put at speed.

I use numbers that I cut myself from magnetic sheeting bought from an art supply chain store (forget which one). Print numbers onto 8.5x11 paper, cut to create templates and use that to stencil onto the magnetic sheeting. Cut that and you have numbers.

Next time around, I'll make them with reusable vinyl instead of magnetics.

http://www.solotime.com/default.asp?page=1688

for the last 6 yrs I use the extra-thick, low tack reuseable vinyl; 10" numbers 6" class letters

they also have magnetic, regular vinyl, static cling, etc as well as an extensive decal area and some other accessories

the Mazdaspeed decals typically come fom Mazda Motosports (now called Mazdaspeed) EDIT: SOlotime has the Mazdaspeed decals on their site, use the link above and go to the decal area

I've used www.soloracer.com with good results. Of course they were local to me and I could have them just bring stuff out to the next event if needed
