Anyone want a codriver for the Toledo Pro?

After very little thought, I'd expect to have them mark two completely different courses on Friday or before (in two different colors, like they do at Forbes), move the cones Saturday afternoon, and raise entry fees to cover any additional cost. I'd anticipate it taking about 50% longer to setup two courses per side rather than one (cones are already out and a lot of cones could probably be used in the same spot on both courses). I'd anticipate changing the course Saturday afternoon would take less time than it does at a tour (where they're usually still discussing design while they're changing it to run backwards--plus they usually de-chalk and re-chalk the lines). I don't see much more work involved.

I do think a lot of folks like the super challenge tho. I think it's a lot of fun to both watch and drive, and if the competition was equally deep in all classes, it'd work perfectly. Maybe we need to raise the minimum # of entrants to make a class and then index everyone who can't? It's really the few classes with either drivers who have no competition or cars that have a huge advantage in a pro format that ruin the challenge for those of us in deep classes.

FYI, I won't be at Toledo as previously planned. Without a co-driver, the little lady has rearranged departure times for the rest of our vacation. The schedule currently has me not getting to Toledo until well after midnight on Friday Evening. Not such a hot idea for my first prosolo.
Maybe next year...
