Just stumbled on this thread and you guys should definitively pester David Garfinkle on the Rx7 forum. He made the torque brace on my FD and it does not transmit vibration through the chassis and that is because both sides of the brace are made from rubber bushings. I would be curious to see if it would remove and of the cursed stuttering and jerkiness of the Rx-8...

well --spoke with someone a hell of a lot smarter than me about my track "problem" occurring mostly during braking.-- he recommended passenger side only with no harder than an 80A and a differential brace--I had not thought of that.

IMO the subframe bushings I referred to would serve you much better, unless you're more concerned about your drivetrain moving around than you are about both your drivetrain and your rear suspension moving around - the differential mounts to the rear subframe assembly, bracing it only shifts the load onto the subframe ....

i see what you mean Team--car does have 70K on it--the bushings have to have some wear/age on them plus even new they were probably not up to the stress we put on them. Thinking about it they would give me the same results---this may be a smart thing to do.
Go Team!!
Need all the help I can get to keep my butt planted.
