about to track, some tweaking questions
assuming the financials work out, i will be taking my stock 8 up to road america at the end of the month for a weekend of track time. i know how to race-prepare the car, and in addition will be switching to red line tranny and gear oil, but i was wondering if there were any tweeks i should know about to get more out of the car? thanks for any tips!

What chapter runs there in the fall? I went with the Windy City one in the spring a couple years ago in my other car, and I thought it was well run and had a blast. :D
What trans (and other) fluids did you change to? I do about 3-4 events a year and want to protect the car.
I am going to try to go in May 05 with the Windy City guys...may be I'll see you there. There is certainly a shortage of 8's out at the track

not sure, but id assume it was a chicago chapter (are there multiple?) our friend was going and invited my dad, but i tried too late and didnt get to go. my dads a seasoned track guy (4-6 events/year for the past 10 years or so) and said they were not the best club to drive with. guy blew his engine and a piece flew off and put about a 3" scratch in my dads 355 and the dude didnt even say sorry, not to mention offer to pay to get it fixed. consensus was more money than driving skills.
when i do change the fluids i will add redline trans and diff and agip brake fluid
