So they're officially out of ST after this season? I thought up till now that was just rumor.

they are going to focus on GT, it is a rumor but is almost for sure

mazda thinks there is nothing more to get out of ST, and the rules changes have made it very dificult for the RX-8 to race there.

 

Ohhh thats cool, I thought grand-am is taking the RX-8 outta the ST class...

They should do pretty well in GT class, I watched all the races and they are quite fast!!

Sorry if its been answered before, but is the RX8 in GT class running a restrictor plate?

I think they dont use a restrictor, they can keep up with the v8 and faster than many and the porches, but lets see what they say

speedsource got 3 of the top 5 including pole position for the #70 car

 

bad news the 70 car went out with rare mech failure.... the # 68 finished 3rd...
