Good luck Chike and also to Shawn and Katie. Liam will be there with a co-driver. Looks like a lot of competition.

Congrats to Ruggles on the win!

It was definitely a rough weekend for our class with only one dry session...

Thanks Keith. Liam had some awful luck with cones this weekend, but I was very impressed with Joe's driving in the 350Z Nismo. He and Liam are talking about co-driving @ Nats. They've already won 2 free hoosiers between the two of them.

Saturday afternoon must have been the dry heat. From results it looked like a short(one heat) but fierce race.Congrats to all.
Whats with the huge( 2 plus second ) difference in the left and right side times?

Very typical Piccione course, where you feel like you are hauling *** yet still in second gear. Methinks the Z may get up the hill there a bit quicker, but the 8 gets down quicker....who knows, toss up?
Some really impressive drives: Liam and Joe proving the Z is not out of the running, Chike showing that his newfound aggression in Finger Lakes was not a fluke (too bad it was in the wet on Sunday ) , Fossum proving to be consistent and fast, and Travis Hill (my Kryptonite) proving that if given the chance, he can pull out a flyer.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Toledo!

Nice job Jay! Definitely pulled out the fast runs when it counted. I think everyone (including Jay) was dissapointed we didn't get a chance to battle it out on Sunday, but at least we all got the same chances on Saturday afternoon.
Who let this guy drive an 8 anyway?

<--- Needs to work on his lights. I lost all my right side time to the other RX-8's at the tree. Also lost my good dry left side run to a RL (IIRC it was well into the 33's even if I had run a .6-.7 light.)

These are the only pics I've come across for the event courtesy of Marnie from the Finger Lakes region: http://www.flickr.com/photos/marnie/...7620193030499/
Only a couple BS cars were snapped:
