I need to check the Solo2 site for the run order for Sunday.

EDIT: BSP runs 5th and works last (6th).
BS runs first group after lunch (4th) and will be working for the BSP run group.

Just registered for Sunday
Jason's, whens the next SD event? The NFL playoff game should make that section of the world a little crazy this coming weekend.

I do not think there will be a Jan SD event.

Yeah, Chargers vs. Patriots! Must remember to set the DVR, game will be awesome.

We generally don't get our autox schedule sorted out till mid-January down here... so, yeah, probably 1st event in Feb.

kwescott 01-08-2007 02:04 PM

Go PATs...it is going to be a great game....

CosmosMpower 01-08-2007 03:09 PM

I will probably be in the area around March visiting the parents. Mind if I bring my dad and his 06 S2000 to play?

Can't drive my RX8 2500 miles from TX :)

kwescott 01-08-2007 03:10 PM

make sure you come by and say hello....would you be running the s2000 in BSP?

mp5 01-09-2007 05:13 PM

San Diego Schedule:

Feb 10,11 SDAD West Lot <- Conflict with CalClub event
Mar 3, 4 TART West Lot
Mar 16-18 SCCA National Tour Qualcomm West Lot
Mar 24-25 SCCA ProSolo, El Toro
Mar 31, Apr 1 SCAT West Lot <- Conflict with CalClub event
Apr 14,15 DCCSD SE Lot (also date of Atwater National Tour)
May 5,6 SCNAX West Lot
May 19,20 SDAD West Lot
June 24 TART West Lot (Championship) <- Conflict with CalClub event
July 14,15 SCAT West Lot

Quite a few conflicts with CalClub champ events... maybe we need to drop 3 events this year?

ZooTender 01-09-2007 05:48 PM

What time are you guys meeting at the speedway on Saturday? I'd like to walk the course with you and see if I can remember it. Is anyone doing the cruise too? Just trying to figure out if I should just go to auto x or do both.

speeddemon32 01-09-2007 05:51 PM

you can do the meet, then walk the course during lunch. (before the second session)

its up to you.

I would agree with that also because this year it is a full season for everyone, where last season a lot of people came in and missed the first few.

mwood 01-09-2007 06:43 PM

We have the same "problem" in NorCal...too many events to choose from!

Man, what a high class "problem" :)

Now, if we could just improve our sites, up here...well, we're working on it.

ULLLOSE 01-09-2007 07:01 PM

You guys should think about some of the LVR events this year, they have some two day events:

2007 TENTATIVE Schedule

January 14, 28
February 17/18
March 4, 25
April 14/15
May 6, 26/27 (Hawthorne)
June 10, 30
July 7
August 11, 26
September 15/16
October 7, 28
November 10/11
December 9

ZooTender 01-09-2007 08:05 PM

Thanks Casey.

Sherry, I should be at the track all day, but have committed myself to leading the cruise from Pirate City, and then go down to the speedway around lunch time. Depends on how much time you want to devote to the day.

If you want to forego the meet, and want to walk the course in the morning....course walks usually open around 745 and close prior to the first run group..usually around 815/830.

If that is too early in the morning for you...show up to the meet, or show up to the speedway prior to/around lunch.

I would be in agreement with the suggestion of dropping 3.

speeddemon32 01-10-2007 11:24 AM

Keith, you dont HAVE to do the run on Saturday.... you are the one who suguessted it. :) maybe one of the other regulars can lead the pack? :)

You know KW is going to lead the run on Sat. It is the only time all weekend he will be in 1st place. :pokeowned :FIREdevil

I guess I was too excited to jump on a joke that I didn't read your post properly. I stand corrected...hopefully in 2nd or 3rd position at the end of the day.

kwescott 01-10-2007 01:16 PM

Speed, is there anyway to add the SD schedule (post 85) to the first couple posts?

mp5 01-12-2007 12:31 AM

I spent some time getting the points spreadsheet ready for the new season... and decided to try out Google spreadsheets. It's a pretty cool idea and has most of Excel's capabilities, but is web hosted. I can update it from any web browser and the link will always have the latest info:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...s-u1RPAzVbOnFQ

I can also invite people by email address to "colloborate" which allows them to edit it as well. We should add this link to the first post of the thread.

After that I decided to check out Google calendar and made one for all our SoCal Autox dates:

http://www.google.com/calendar/embed...dar.google.com

Yes, I have too much free time and I'm a bit obsessed with Google. But hey, they make good stuff. :)

kwescott 01-12-2007 10:54 AM

Jason, saw that you were able to get #808 for Cal Club....congrats.

BTW, has anyone ever autocrossed in the snow....reason I ask, is that it was snowing in Fontana when I left for work this morning...yup, snow, and it was sticking to the ground. I made sure I took some pictures before I left this morning...I was so thinking about staying off work today to go get some snow pics....but no, I'm at work, and it is bright and sunny in City of Industry.

speeddemon32 01-12-2007 10:58 AM

yeah snowing here in San Berdo to!

weather for tomorrow is clear and sunny. same with Sunday.
I took a look at one of the radar maps. its pretty funny. there is only one cluster of clouds in sother california.... its RIGHT over San berdo, fontana, big bear, beaumont, area. other then that..... not one freakin cloud in the sky.

2% chance of percip Saturday, 0% sSunday.

Kaliken 01-13-2007 09:14 AM

hey guys..

It looks like I will be missing most of you guys tommorow unless someone is running in the morning. I unfortunately need to be back at work for the afternoon so the only run group that fit the bill was SK1. Sorry I will miss you all as I definitely like soaking up as much knowledge as I can from all you guys..

Good luck!
Ken
