13b RX-8: 7.861 Seconds at 171 mph
This post is from April but I never heard about it until tonight, and to think this guy is from my hometown as well. I remember seeing pics of that car at Rotary Performance (Garland, TX), which makes sense since its sponsored by RX-7.com... but I never heard more about it after that.

Its not BS. That guy is very well known in the professional drag scene, especially amongst RX owners.
The RX-7.com teams 7 also runs very fast times in their class. I'm not up to date on NIRA drag racing, but if you look into... you'll see there are a lot of other 1.3L rotarys putting up single digit times.
I've seen pics of this car stripped. Its a pretty mighty f'ing beast.

if your not 1st your last
he is running a 13b 2 rotor which is a good time, especillay with abel's problems in his rx8- 3 rotor.
