I have a 2004 Sunlight Silver trunk/lid without a spoiler and I am looking to trade for a trunk/lid with a Mazda spoiler.

Im willing to chip in a few bucks or if it is the MazdaSpeed Spoiler a bit more.

I will drive almost anywhere but I'm from State College and Coatesville Areas.

Minor scratches or imperfections are acceptable.

Open to anything that is Sunlight Silver. Picture is of mine. Many more pictures upon request.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow night. Other than the reason of wanting the OEM spoiler, is there any issue with your trunk? Any dings, scratches, chips, etc?

i just want a spoiler. the light works. i dont know what else on the trunk would "work". I will pm you more pictures. I do have a few buffable marks. They are actually not that noticeable from half foot away but i literally put the camera lense on top of the marks. I want to be flat out honest before I would attempt any drive or trade, plus im honest.

I have no washed the trunk either before picture taking and there is a reflection on some of the building behind me, my arms, and powerlines above.

The pictures that have marks are circled in RED. The ones that are not are either half a foot away or in the case of the inside of the trunk just a visual.

Questions for you. Is it a lip or factory wing or what? What condition is your trunk in? Did the wing come factory installed from th factory?

It's the factory wing, condition is great and I'll have to double check if there is a scratch on it but none that I know of. It came installed like that from the factory.

Sorry about the late response. Just a busy weekend. I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

While I am nit-picky about the scratches and scuffs on yours, I don't think it'll be a big deal as I plan to use a lip spoiler anyhow so they'll be covered up.

There's no rock chips, visible scratches or anything noticeable. Marked in the last picture is two spots showing missing paint from typical wear. There are a few other dots like this on the trunk that you have to really look closely to see.

 

vlaze was the trunk de-baged? Your missing the dash in the RX-8.

I have no idea, to be honest I never even noticed the dash wasn't there or gave it any attention since buying it last year used from the dealer.

It could be the previous owner did it, dunno. It's been like ever since I've owned it.

 

i see. i will have to consider this. its not a huge issue to me but it is a bit at the same time. ill get back to you though.

Just take the dash off your trunk and do the swap. Then get some double sided tape and put it on the "new" trunk.
