Arrow WTS: AAM Prototype Exhaust...................MD/DC/VA

SOLD!!!

Finally got this off my car and it's up for sale as it's too loud for my wife. This is a one of a kind prototype that was never produced. Made by AAM in Gaithersburg, MD, but never produced.

It sounds awesome: deep, throaty and loud. It's too loud for my wife, which is why I am getting rid of it.

The way it's built doesn't allow to get as compact as other exhausts for shipping. It would be quite a bit more expensive for shipping than most other exhausts.

Was it too loud with the stock cat on? You have a Borla now, how does it compare? I have a friend with a Borla.

JinDesu: it's not that it's too loud. I like the sound level from it. It was my wife that didn't like it. It is much louder than the Borla, but the Borla is very quiet.

How far are you from Deals Gap? Are you along the way to/from Deals Gap from NY? Do you know if the exhaust would fit in the car?

The exhaust would fit in the car. You may want to have some sort of a cloth to cover where you're laying it down.

I'm not sure how you're getting to deal's gap, but I'm right outside of DC.

Can you PM me your location so I can check if it's possible for me to incorporate it into either my down trip, or return trip? Thanks. I assume I'd have to put the exhaust into the rear seats with some towels? My trunk is going to be damn full from supplies coming down.

Tips don't look like they stick out far enough. Doesn't look like they clear the surround.
How much does this weigh? (Bathroom scale will work.)

Don't know what you mean by "clear the surround", but they def don't stick out past the bumper like the exhaust in your sig picture. They sit in the same place as the Borla that I replaced it with.

I'll check the weight in a bit and get back to you.

Thanks for the weight.

Heh, never really noticed that on the sig pic. That's a B&B and it does stick out pretty far. Unfortunately it's coming apart. Can't take the track heat. Looking for a replacement with lighter weight, but don't want to go straight pipe or single pipe. Good news on the same length as the Borla, though I'm concerned about melting the plastic things around the outlets when I go to the track (which is often). Seen others melt. I suppose I could hack the tips off and get extensions welded on.
