CA WTB - Wheels: Show me what you got!

Looking for an extra set of wheels. Don't really care what (stock, aftermarket). Going to use this 2nd set of wheels to mount tires for track days.

Post here with pics/asking prices please!

EDIT: I'm willing to spend up to $1000. Of course everything will depend on if there's tires, condition of tires, condition of wheel, etc. Prefer local SoCal over shipping.

Thanks for the post butters. Keeping you in mind. Just waiting it out for a little longer to see if anything else pops up!

or maybe you can use your set of wheel now and use it as a second set than buy my SSR SP1 and use as your primary set!

Nice set of wheels! Their weight's pretty much on par with the stock wheels too =) It seems like all the wheels available are up north =P

I have a set of 17x8.5 +42et SSR Comps with Hankook RS2s 235/40-17 mounted. Okay tire for entry level track. The gearing will help acceleration. They were used on an RSX, so I don't have centering rings for an RX-8, but you can get new ones from Tire Rack or locally. I will include lugs.

These wheels are awesome, and in excellent condition. Only about 3k miles on them. They are super-light, about 16 lb. without tire if I remember correctly. They're the old-school one-piece design with diamond-cut lip, which AFAIK hasn't been made since SSR went through bankruptcy a few years ago. They will take 245/40-17 or 245/45-17 tires, so you can exploit the Grand Am Koni Challenge GS used Hoosier supply, or the World Challenge Touring Car used 235/40-17 Toyo R888 tire supply. And they clear most 328 or 330mm BBKs.

Won't find a better wheel for the car. It kinda hurts to offer them for sale.

I need to see $1200, though, with tires. Will do local pickup in SoCal or add shipping.
